Green Bus Stop Display

Green bus stop displays, showing information in green color, have been installed at many bus stops in the town of Rosnówko. At the top, the display shows the current time, which is synchronized via Ethernet using the NTP/SNTP protocol. The display shows the number of the next bus, its direction, and the departure time. The display has preloaded direction names assigned to specific lines. The position on the display is changed using a protocol chosen by the client, which is ModBusTCP – the display operates in Slave mode.

Additionally, the display is equipped with a photoresistor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the display – dimming it at night to avoid blinding pedestrians and drivers, and brightening it during the day to ensure that the information is clearly visible even in bright sunlight. The display is powered by 230V AC.

Key Features

  • Display of the next bus number: The display shows the bus number, its direction, and the departure time.
  • Preloaded direction names: Direction names are assigned to specific lines for easy route identification.
  • ModBusTCP Protocol: Position changes on the display are managed via ModBusTCP protocol, with the display operating in Slave mode.
  • Photoresistor: Automatic brightness adjustment – dims at night to avoid blinding pedestrians and drivers, and brightens during the day to ensure visibility in bright sunlight.
  • Power Supply: 230V AC, ensuring reliable operation.

Applications

The green bus stop display is an ideal solution for bus stops in the town of Rosnówko. With clear displays, preloaded direction names, and remote management via ModBusTCP protocol, the display provides passengers with easy access to current information about bus numbers, directions, and departure times.
